ABOUT STEPHANIE

Stephanie Halpin Kolman began her career in Architecture but is drawn to all things design related.  Her paintings are inspired by the patterns and energy found in nature, however, her background in architecture helps distill the vision into elements. The color, lines, and shapes marry together with a focus on rhythm and movement between the elements.  

While based in St Louis, Stephanie finds inspiration from travel, and her paintings often reflect her most recent location.  She embraces the concept of Genius Loci which roughly translates to “the spirit of a site”.  Her painting's essence is to capture the spiritual feeling of existing in ones surrounding.
